April 7, 2018 - Franklin Arts Advocacy Day

For Community Arts Advocacy Day 2018, I was invited to speak on a panel on "How to Drive Community Engagement" by Franklin Cultural Council

I focused on using digital media as a tool to raise awareness, reach new users, and engage the public (with a slant on connecting with young adults/a college-aged demographic). I served as a lead on the following topics: 

• Creating a successful grassroots engagement or awareness event
• Effective use of particular social media platforms 
• How to deal with online trolls
• Engaging youth via social media 

As a member of the Leadership Council of MassCreative, it was a pleasure to discuss arts advocacy, which is a passion and marry it to my every day responsibilities as a manager and content creator of digital media.
