April 3, 2016 - Female Excellence: The Empowerment of Being Heard

On Sunday, April 3, I spoke at Clark University on a Panel Discussion entitled, Female Excellence: The Empowerment of Being Heard.

Feminists United invited Nina Medard of Bluefly Lens, Erica Feldmann of Hauswitch, and myself to discuss how social media has personally allowed us to find our voices.

It was a pleasure to be in the company of these strong women, who shared how unexpected life can be, and how wonderful it is discovering the serendipity in failure. 

I have to say, I felt out of my league! Nina gave such a personal, emotional talk - and her photography is gorgeous, while Erica was completely inspiring and funny. I mostly blathered and babbled about the meandering path to my current vocation, but I think it went well. All in all, I felt privileged to be included with these amazing ladies!
